Outbound Message Logging
The Outbound Message Logging policy logs custom messages from outbound requests sent to upstream services, responses from upstream services, or information from other outbound policies applied to the same upstream service.

What’s New

The policy now supports data masking to detect and mask personally identifiable information (PII), such as email addresses, in log messages before they are written. You can select built-in PII types (Email, US SSN, Credit Card, and Phone Number) or add custom regex patterns. Request and response bodies are forwarded to the upstream service unchanged.
