Amazon Bedrock Connector Release Notes
Anypoint Connector for Amazon Bedrock (Amazon Bedrock Connector) provides seamless access to Amazon Bedrock, a fully managed service offering high-performing foundation models (FMs) from leading AI providers. The connector enables customers to invoke, evaluate, and integrate Bedrock models and operations within Mule flows, supporting use cases such as prompt-based inference, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-driven, multi-step workflows over enterprise data. While each model provider exposes different APIs and capabilities, the connector abstracts these differences and offers a unified, consistent interface to interact with all supported Bedrock models through MuleSoft.

You can now invoke a deployed AgentCore agent runtime and manage its sessions and credentials by using the new AgentCore - Invoke Agent Runtime (Streaming), AgentCore - Invoke Agent Runtime As Bytes (Non Streaming), AgentCore - Stop Runtime Session, AgentCore - Get Workload Access Token, and AgentCore - Get Resource API Key operations.

The CHAT Answer Prompt Streaming operation now supports the Model Arn field and Attachments. You can include images or documents with the text prompt. You can also supply a base-model, inference-profile, or application-inference-profile ARN in Model Arn instead of Model Name.

The AGENT Chat and AGENT Chat Streaming (SSE) operations now support the Session Attributes and Prompt Session Attributes fields. Use Session Attributes to pass key-value context that persists across the entire agent session. Use Prompt Session Attributes to pass key-value context that applies only to the current prompt and turn.

The EMBEDDING Adhoc Query operation now supports base64-encoded document content in the Document Bytes field. The File Path field is now optional. When both fields are set, Document Bytes takes precedence.

The Region field is removed from the AGENT Define Prompt Template, CHAT Answer Prompt, CHAT Answer Prompt Streaming, and SENTIMENT Analyze operations. Configure the AWS region by using the connection-level Region Endpoint field instead.

The Request Timeout Unit field in the AGENT Chat and AGENT Chat Streaming (SSE) operations now also supports
NANOSECONDS,MICROSECONDS,HOURS, andDAYS.
